Vista stinks…. bring on Leopard

I’ve just about had it with Vista.  While it looks prettier than XP and there are a few more features, there are many things about the functionality and customization that drive me crazy.  I’ve had issues with programs randomly closing (crashing) without error or warning, I’ve had issues with folder and file displays, I’ve had issues with file copies, I’ve had issues with the permissions manager, and I can go on.

I am certainly not an Apple Fanboy, but my iPhone’s ease of use and my experience with other Apple products have kept me happy(ier than that of MS).  While MS is actually my bread and butter, I am disappointed with Vista.

Obviously Apple has the hardware down.  And apparently the OS as well.  I’m committed to saving for a new Macbook Pro and a household iMac which will probably go to my better half.

New Gadget

Well after a lot of back forth with myself, I finally purchased an iPhone. So far so good. I’m impressed with it’s functionality and usability.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of webapps I can find to run on it. Hell I might rent a movie sometime!

So I am weeding through a web service at work and I find this comment in the code.

‘Nuff said. If you know you’ll appreciate it and maybe even chuckle.

Last night we also held the End of the Year Banquet for Volleyball. We served out 9 cans of beer. It was also Scoop’s retirement party. I think he’s got a little Rocket Roger in him though. Juice him up a little and he’ll be playing again. Farewell Scoop.
