Did I waste hours upon hours of my life?

I just watched the last episode of The Sopranos. Ever since it ended I stayed away from the website, the reviews, the stories. I didn’t want to know how it ended.

I have to say I ended up disappointed. I invested a lot of time over the years watching the episodes, keeping current, enjoying it for the most part. The first half of Season 6 was average and started losing me. The second half was good and the last couple of episodes (before the finale) really got me interested. I was thinking that it could end quite well…. alas, it sucked and I felt like I wasted a fair amount of time.

Grrrrr.. Curse The Family… and Good Riddance. I’ve still got 24… or a comedy so the drama doesn’t ruin it in the end.

Damn, that’s not what I wanted to hear. We just started up Season 6 again (our DVD player died after episode 4). While episode 5 wasn’t anything to write home about I was hoping that the last few shows would be stellar.

    Crap.

Well, we finished up The Sopranos last night. I actually enjoyed how the series ended. But I think it was due to the surprise factor. I tried to avoid reading/hearing about the ending but over the last year I had heard enough that I thought I had the ending figured out. But in the end my guess was wrong. At least Phil was dead.

Was that before or after your DLP lamp went out?

    Amen to Phil tho.

I am with Chad on this one - the ambiguity was ridiculous and unnecessary. I wish I was able to see all the discussion when it originally ended to get everyone else’s opinion.

At least we all agree on Phil though.
